With a strong effort of 41 points and 12 assists, Jalen Brunson silenced critics and led the Knicks to a series victory. He was the player of the night. Brunson has been playing well lately.
An intense Game 6 at Madison Square Garden marked the culmination of the series, which had fluctuated throughout. With a 3-2 lead, the Knicks sought to finish the series at home, while the frantic 76ers, inspired by Tyrese Maxey’s 46 points in Game 5, sought to force a seventh game.

Embiid missed a disputed turnaround fadeaway on the next possession, giving the Knicks a crucial advantage.
RJ Barrett was driving to the basket when he was fouled with seconds remaining. He made both free throws with poise, giving the Knicks a four-point lead. In order to set up a final play, the 76ers took a timeout, but James Harden’s desperate three-point attempt went unnoticed off the rim, giving the Knicks the win.
Brunson gave a really outstanding performance. He had a slow beginning to the series, but in Games 5 and 6, he went off, averaging an incredible 40.5 points and 10.5 assists. His ability to manage the Knicks’ offense and his clutch play in the closing minutes were crucial to their victory.
Following the game, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau remarked, “Jalen has been phenomenal.” “He plays video games. He performs best under duress. He has really come through for us; we knew he was capable of this.”
The 76ers’ season, which began with great expectations, ended in a disappointing loss. Aside from Maxey’s valiant efforts, Embiid’s offensive difficulties throughout the series were a serious cause for concern, and the supporting cast did not always offer the assistance that was required.
